In addition to international service, EyeWitness Missions is involved in providing access to eye care through local free clinics. To date we have served in Burlington, Auburn and Everett townships with our next local clinic scheduled in November.
At these clinics, we check vision, screen for medical issues, and help patients get the glasses that they might need. Teams of local volunteers provide check in, screenings, patient care, and optical (glasses) fitting. Patients requiring more comprehensive follow up care or surgery are taken care of by Cascadia Eye and Cascadia Surgical. Eyeglasses are donated by Cascadia Eyewear.
Free Clinic November 11 & 13, 2022:
